Paper Machine Hood Process Air Systems
Enerquin is responsible for major advances in Air Systems Engineering and has a leading role in developing new technology. It is equally committed to offering the economical alternative of rebuilt equipment where feasible. As specialists, Enerquin assures the engineering of all Air Systems, from the wet end to the dry end of the paper machine room.
Process Air Systems Main Purposes
- Eliminate water vapour evaporated during web drying
- Ensure dryer section runnability
- Supply dry air to the dryer section in the correct way
- Increase drying capacity
- Reduce steam consumption
Enerquin engineers and manufactures all air systems for the paper machine. Our products are designed for reducing energy costs and optimizing the production process and quality.
HOOD EXHAUST SYSTEM
The hood exhaust system is designed to transport the evaporated moisture from the paper machine hood to the heat recovery system and finally to the atmosphere.
HOOD AIR SUPPLY
Enerquin’s Supply Make-Up System delivers heated air to the hood enclosure to balance the air being exhausted and limit cold air infiltration. The supply air is distributed efficiently through DryRunnability components, which promotes higher efficiency of the dryer section.
VACUUM ROLL EXHAUST SYSTEM
Vacuum rolls are used to restrain the web on the felt and ensure an optimum runnability in the single-tier dryer section. The vacuum in the roll is generated by an exhaust system designed for regular and threading mode. Enerquin’s vacuum roll exhaust system can be adapted to any vacuum roll manufacturer’s concept of operation. Our sheet stabilizers are adapted to vacuum rolls using a single exhaust system to increase runnability at reduced capital and operating costs.
PULPER EXHAUST SYSTEM
The pulper exhaust system keeps the pulper pits under a slight vacuum to avoid vapour spillage at the operating floor level.
WEB FLOTATION TECHNOLOGY
Spooner industries offers unrivalled worldwide experience in the drying, curing, cooling, and non-contact handling of coated and impregnated web materials.
