HOOD EXHAUST SYSTEM
FUNCTIONS
The Hood Exhaust System is designed to transport the evaporated moisture from the paper machine hood to the Heat Recovery System then to the atmosphere.
HOOD AIR SUPPLY
FUNCTIONS
The Enerquin Air Supply Make-Up System is designed to deliver heated air to the hood enclosure to balance the air being exhausted and therefore limit cold air infiltration thus promoting a higher efficiency of the dryer section.
VACUUM ROLL EXHAUST SYSTEM
FUNCTIONS
Vacuum rolls are used to restrain the web on the felt and ensure an optimum runnability in the single-tier dryer section. The vacuum in the roll is generated by an exhaust system designed for normal and threading mode. The Enerquin Air's vacuum roll exhaust system can be adapted to any vacuum roll manufacturer concept of operation. Enerquin Air system is composed of a rugged exhaust fan, heavy duty volume control dampers, stainless steel ductwork and all necessary instruments for DCS control.

Pulper exhaust systems:
The pulper exhaust system will keep the following pits under a slight vacuum to avoid vapour spillage at the operating floor level.
Trim conveying systems:
The winder Trim conveying system is designed to induce the trim ribbons at the machine winder into a duct conveying system. The ribbons are then carried to the pulper.
