PAPER MACHINE WET-END AND PRESS SECTION EXHAUST SYSTEMS
With over 30 years of knowledge in paper machine wet-end configurations, our expertise in design and manufacture of Wet-End Former Exhaust Systems is unsurpassed. We provide a total solution to the control and elimination of mist and high humidity levels at the machine wet-end.
Wet-End Air Management, the concept …
Properly designed Wet-End Ventilation Systems guarantee good working conditions and protect the machine hall from deterioration and corrosion. The Wet-End Exhaust System exhausts hot moisture-laden air directly from several sources including save-all connections, underneath the wire and the headbox, strategically located cross machine headers, and cleaning showers. The mist not captured at the source is collected underneath a false ceiling then exhausted through the roof on the drive side of the paper machine.
WET-END FORMER EXHAUST
Improves the cleanliness of the former and press sections
Improves paper quality
Fewer sheet breaks
Increases production up-time
Reduces number of shut-downs required for cleaning
Designed to ensure easy maintenance
Eliminates mist around the machine
Reduces the humidity and heat load
Reduces the heat into the machine room
Sophisticated duct network designed to prevent fiber and stock build-up
WATER AND FIBER SEPARATOR
The exhaust air from the paper machine wet-end contains large amounts of water and fiber particles. The separators are designed to efficiently remove water droplets and contaminants from the exhaust air before entering the fan and further being evacuated out of the building. Separators are essential to prevent ice formation on building roofs in cold climate.
WET-END MACHINE ROOM FALSE CEILING & EXHAUST SYSTEM
Reduces risk of damage on the building and machinery caused by corrosion due to high ambient humidity in the wet-end area;
Helps confine and extract the vapours at roof level;
Improves working environment;
Special attention to the design to be aesthetic, durable, and easy to maintain.
ROOF SUPPLY AND HEATING SYSTEM
Heats and pressurizes the vicinity between the roof and the false ceiling;
Keeps the false ceiling surface temperature above the moist air dew point to avoid condensation and dripping on the paper machine;
Optional feature creating a tendency to drive side “air sweep” effect under the false ceiling to enhance the efficiency of the false ceiling roof exhausters.
Is mist causing problem around the machine?
Hood and air systems are essential to the papermaking process and should routinely be checked to ensure that they run at an optimal level. more
