An Energy Efficient Technology and CO2 Reduction
Enerquin Air Heat Recovery eco-solutions systems for Tissue Machine applications are specially designed to help recover up to 70% of the energy exhausted from the drying process, between 50% to 75% of the water evaporated from the drying process and incidentally help reduce dramatically your CO2 Emissions.

The multi-stage heat recovery technology
Three (3) stage Eco-Solution transfers a maximum of energy to the paper machine process through efficiently combined Air-to-Air (1st stage) and Air-to-Water (2nd stage) heat recovery units, while recovered energy is maximized through a Air-to-Glycol unit (3rd stage) for winter heating of building make-up air.

Air-to-water direct economisers are ideal to transfer energy from a clean or contaminated air stream to process water. The water can be used as is or filtered following process requirements.

The Enerquin steam generator is used as a first stage heat recovery to take advantage of typical high dry-bulb temperature of Yankee Hood air exhaust. It produces steam that can be used in the papermaking process, which as direct positive impact on the mill steam usage and operating costs.

Typical applications:
Provide low pressure steam for the de-aerator, steam shower, hot water tank.
Produce high pressure steam (up to 17 bars) to feed the mill main steam header.
Yankee cylinder steam.
Provide heat to any other energy user that could benefit from "free" steam.
Supplement mill steam production in case of boiler limitation.
